Weekly Elevation
#2: January 12, 2026
The Weekly Elevation is a little boost to your inbox and subconscious mind every Monday morning to elevate your week ahead.
This weekend as I took down the Christmas tree and put away my decorations, I had the same thought I do every year:
How can it feel so right to let this season go when, as the decorations went up, I felt as though I wanted to keep them up forever?!
Every year I’m shocked at how suddenly it all has to go. How the cozy lights and Nutcracker that had felt like a hug to my soul last week feel cluttered now.
It got me thinking about other times in my life where things were so right until they were just…not. The yesses that became hard no’s. The stuff that had go with as much certainty as knowing when it’s time to put the decorations away and move on.
I started to get curious…what it might feel like to allow stories we have about ourselves to come and go as naturally as we allow the seasonal decor to change?
Why do we tend to hold onto those stories so tightly, even when we know it would feel so right to let them go?
As we start this new week, I’m curious if there are any stories about yourself — your life, what’s possible for you — that you know you’re ready to pack up along with the Christmas decorations. Maybe they felt good once, and they might even feel right again one day, but now you know they’re no longer in alignment with the season of life you’re in.
What stories would you pack up?
The stories about money that have kept you in a cycle that’s burning you out?
The ones that tell you your dreams are too much?
Too unrealistic?
Too hard?
What would it feel like to clear those stories out? What do you notice as you imagine rearranging the decor of your subconscious mind to match how you want to feel now?
This week, I choose pack up stories that tell me I’m somehow behind in life to make room for subconscious decor that feels spacious and aligned. That feels like an exhale where I had been holding my breath.
Your turn…
What stories are you choosing to pack up this season?
When you clear them out, what is there space for?
What does it feel like when you try on this new “subconscious decor”?
When you remember you get to choose your “subconscious decor”, what do you notice?
Wishing you a beautiful week ahead, and happy elevating!
xo,
Kelsey
